Mumbai, October 20 (Udaipur Kiran): Shares of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) gained over 2.5% on Monday after the company reported a 9.67% year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit for the quarter ended September 30, 2025 (Q2FY26).

The stock was trading at Rs. 1,453.05, up Rs. 36.10 or 2.55% from its previous close of Rs. 1,416.95 on the BSE. It opened at Rs. 1,440.00 and touched a high of Rs. 1,457.95 and a low of Rs. 1,435.00 during the session. A total of 56,603 shares were traded. The company’s market capitalisation currently stands at Rs. 19,17,483.71 crore.
In the past 52 weeks, the stock has hit a high of Rs. 1,551.00 (July 9, 2025) and a low of Rs. 1,115.55 (April 7, 2025). The promoters hold 50.07% stake in the company, while institutional investors and non-institutional investors own 39.10% and 10.83%, respectively.
In its quarterly results, Reliance reported a standalone net profit of Rs. 9,129 crore for Q2FY26, up 18.36% from Rs. 7,713 crore in the same period last year. However, total standalone income fell 2.76% to Rs. 1,34,055 crore, compared to Rs. 1,37,855 crore a year ago.
On a consolidated basis, the company posted a net profit of Rs. 18,165 crore, up 9.67% from Rs. 16,563 crore in Q2FY25. Consolidated total income rose 9.58% year-on-year to Rs. 2,63,380 crore, compared to Rs. 2,40,357 crore in the same quarter last year.
