Jodhpur/Jaipur, February 17, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran): The Rajasthan High Court received another bomb threat on Tuesday, prompting immediate evacuation of both its Jodhpur main bench and Jaipur bench.

According to High Court administration officials, a threatening email was received in the morning warning of a bomb attack on the court premises. Following the alert, police teams and dog squads rushed to the spot. Courtrooms and the entire building complex were vacated as a precautionary measure.
In Jodhpur, the search operation is being led by DCP (West) Vineet Bansal. Bomb disposal squads and dog squads are thoroughly scanning the premises to detect any suspicious object. Similar search operations are underway at the Jaipur bench.
Court Work Temporarily Suspended
In view of the security protocol, court proceedings have been temporarily suspended. A notice displayed on the board informed that court work will resume from 11:30 AM.
Security Measures Tightened
The High Court administration has implemented strict security arrangements:

Mandatory ID Cards: Entry into the premises is being allowed only with valid identity cards and official passes.

Appeal for Cooperation: The administration and police have urged office bearers of bar associations to fully cooperate in the ongoing investigation.

Authorities continue to conduct a detailed search at both benches to ensure safety within the court complexes.
