PM Modi to Visit Rajasthan on February 28 for Major Project Launches

New Delhi, February 27: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Ajmer, Rajasthan on February 28 to inaugurate and lay the foundation for development projects worth ₹16,680 crore. The visit is expected to be filled with significant initiatives, including the launch of a health campaign and steps towards job creation for the youth. There is considerable excitement in Rajasthan regarding this visit.

Local resident Kachhawa expressed, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi is coming to Ajmer. Everyone is ready to welcome him. The double-engine government is working at double speed. Tomorrow will be historic, with over 21,000 youth receiving appointment letters and development works worth over ₹23,500 crore being announced.”

He added, “Ajmer is the heart of Rajasthan. The Prime Minister makes significant announcements from here. The launch of the HPV vaccine will be a boon for women.”

Another resident, Dinesh Khandelwal, described the visit as historic, stating, “Ajmer is the heart of Rajasthan and has been famous for hospitality. The Prime Minister has visited twice before. He knows that announcements made here will have a large impact, such as the vaccine for cancer being launched from Ajmer.”

A local woman, Anita, shared, “Our Prime Minister is coming to the sacred land of Ajmer tomorrow. He will launch several important schemes, including one that is very significant for women. PM Modi will inaugurate the HPV vaccine, which will provide safety to many women. It can be administered to girls aged 9 to 14, while most individuals up to 26 years can also receive it. This will help protect against cancer in the future.”

PM Modi is scheduled to arrive in Ajmer around 11:30 AM on Saturday, where he will inaugurate and lay the foundation for various development projects worth over ₹16,680 crore. He will also address a large public gathering during this event.

The Prime Minister will first launch a nationwide campaign for the vaccination of girls aged 14 against the Human Papillomavirus (HPV), focusing on the prevention of cervical cancer, a leading cause of cancer among women. This initiative will protect the long-term health of millions of girls and women across the country, marking a milestone in women’s welfare and health security.

The development projects will cover key areas such as urban development, drinking water supply, roads, irrigation, energy, and industrial infrastructure. To strengthen road connectivity, the Prime Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation for several national highway projects, including the 4-lane Greenfield Expressway from Bandikui to Jaipur and the 6-lane access-controlled Green Highway in the Amritsar-Jamnagar Economic Corridor.

Additionally, to address the drinking water crisis, the foundation will be laid for four packages of the Nonera major drinking water project and five packages of the Parwan Akavad major drinking water project.

To promote the renewable energy sector, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the transmission system for power evacuation from Rajasthan’s Renewable Energy Zones (REZ) and lay the foundation for five 220 kV and two 400 kV grid substations along with associated transmission lines.

Demonstrating a commitment to job creation and youth empowerment, the Prime Minister will distribute appointment letters to over 21,800 newly appointed youths across various government departments and organizations in Rajasthan.
