New Delhi, October 18 (Udaipur Kiran): As India celebrates the festival of Dhanteras with devotion and enthusiasm, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and several political leaders extended warm greetings to the nation. Along with wishing happiness and prosperity for all, they emphasized promoting indigenous products under the spirit of ‘Vocal for Local’.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi conveyed his wishes through social media platform ‘X’, writing,
“Heartfelt greetings to all my fellow citizens on the auspicious occasion of Dhanteras. I pray for everyone’s happiness, good fortune, and good health. May Lord Dhanvantari bless all with his divine grace.”
Union Home Minister Amit Shah also shared greetings, saying,
“On this auspicious day, I pray to Lord Dhanvantari for happiness, prosperity, and good fortune in everyone’s life.”
Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan highlighted the importance of buying Indian-made goods, urging citizens to strengthen the nation’s economy through local purchases. In his message, he wrote,
“Heartfelt greetings on the auspicious festival of Dhanteras. May Lord Dhanvantari bless everyone with health and wealth, and may Goddess Lakshmi bring happiness and prosperity to every household. Let us make ‘Vocal for Local’ the mantra of our shopping this Dhanteras and contribute to a stronger Indian economy.”
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath extended his wishes, calling Dhanteras a day to honor Lord Dhanvantari, regarded as the founder of Ayurveda. He posted on ‘X’,
“Heartfelt greetings on the birth anniversary of Lord Dhanvantari, the father of Ayurveda. May the blessings of the God of health remain upon everyone, bringing good health, long life, and prosperity.”
Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma wrote,
“May the festival of Dhanteras bring new energy, hope, and progress into everyone’s life. With the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Dhanvantari, may your homes be filled with happiness, prosperity, and good health.”
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav also extended warm greetings, saying,
“Heartfelt wishes on the auspicious occasion of Dhanteras. May this festival bring happiness, prosperity, and good health to everyone’s lives.”
