The OnePlus Open 2 is said to be powered by an unannounced 4th generation Snapdragon 8 SoC and could be a rebranded Oppo Find N5.
Popular tipster Digital Chat Station (translated from Chinese) claimed on Weibo that the OnePlus Open 2 will launch in the first quarter of 2025. It is said that this phone will support the next-generation 4th generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 chip. Qualcomm plans to launch this chipset in October this year.
The successor to the OnePlus Open is said to have an improved hinge to reduce weight, an “ultra-slim” internal display, a high-resolution bezel display and a thinner design. It will likely retain the OnePlus Open’s periscope camera and could feature a thinner build. This phone is expected to be renamed Oppo Find N5. Its predecessor was a renamed Find N3.

Visually, the OnePlus Open has a Hasselblad-branded triple rear camera setup, led by a 48-megapixel main camera. The main selfie camera is 20 megapixels and the secondary front camera is 32 megapixels. This foldable device packs a 4800mAh battery with support for 67W SuperVOOC charging.
