Motorola Teases Launch of New Phone in India; Claimed to Be World’s Slimmest Phone With MIL-STD-810 Rating

Motorola is gearing up to launch a new smartphone in India soon. The company promoted the device in social media posts without revealing its moniker or exact release date. It is said to be the thinnest phone in the country and is MIL-STD-810 certified. Motorola’s next device is speculated to be the Motorola Edge 50 Neo. It is expected to come with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC and could be the successor to last year’s Edge 40 Neo.

Motorola released a new smartphone

Motorola has announced the launch of a new smartphone in the country through teaser videos of the X. The videos “Are you brave?” was published with a slogan. The Lenovo sub-brand draws attention to the mobile phone with a banner on its Indian website.

The world’s thinnest phone with military-grade MIL-STD-810 durability, according to Motorola’s poster (on @stufflistings). Designed to withstand accidental drops, shocks, extreme heat, extreme cold and humidity. The poster also confirms that Flipkart is available on the device.

Although Motorola has yet to confirm the name, it is widely believed that the Motorola Edge 50 Neo could soon be the successor to the Motorola Edge 40 Neo.

The Motorola Edge 50 Neo is expected to sport a 6.4-inch vibrant display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass 3 protection, and is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC. It is expected to be available in 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB RAM and storage options and in Blue, Grey, Milk and Poinciana colors.

To recall, the Motorola Edge 40 Neo was launched in September last year at a starting price of Rs. 23,999 for the base 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The top model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at Rs 25,999.
