Mahindra marked the festive season in spectacular fashion, showcasing the party mode feature of its electric SUVs, the BE 6 and XEV 9e, through a mesmerizing Christmas light show. At the Mahindra SUV Proving Track (MSPT) in Chennai, 23 of these electric vehicles were arranged in the shape of a Christmas tree, delivering a synchronized display of lights and music. This electrifying celebration of innovation and joy was shared via Mahindra’s social media platforms, creating a buzz as the SUVs undergo test drives across India ahead of their January 2025 launch.

Electrifying Party Mode
The video highlights how the BE 6 and XEV 9e leverage their LED headlights, DRLs, taillights, and rear connected light band to create a dynamic light show synchronized with festive music, including a rendition of Jingle Bells. Unique to these EVs, the illuminated sunroof and ambient interior lighting add a stunning dimension to the spectacle. Inspired by Tesla’s light-show feature, Mahindra’s version integrates its Groove Me technology to choreograph every element seamlessly.
This cutting-edge feature underscores Mahindra’s ambition to blend technology with joy, offering a premium experience for EV enthusiasts.
Launch Timeline and Pricing
Introduced in November, the BE 6 and XEV 9e are Mahindra’s debut models under its electric-only sub-brands, Born Electric (BE) and XEV.
