Udaipur : The famous 15 A.D. bakery, established in Rajasthan in 1966, was inaugurated in the city of lakes, Udaipur, on Monday by Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, a member of the erstwhile Mewar royal family. The bakery’s director, Sahil Sheikh, was also present at the event.
Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar said, “Udaipur has received this gift on the auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti. I am very happy about this. In today’s date, we often ask each other where to go for coffee. Where to go for biscuits. The answer to that question will definitely be found in the form of 15 A.D. somewhere. We all like to go with our family. Here I got a chance to taste and see some things. There is no doubt that international level things are now available in Udaipur.”
Sahil Sheikh said that in 1966, Nabi Ahmed founded this bakery in a small shop of 300 square feet in Jodhpur. The bakery achieved success in the business with high quality and unique recipes. In 1996, the second branch of this bakery was opened in Haider Building, the third branch in Sardarpura, the fourth branch in Pavata, and the fifth branch in Ratanada. The bakery holds a special place due to its distinctive packaging and excellent quality. The business is now being handled by their third generation.
