The Infinix GT 20 Pro was launched in India on Tuesday (May 21) as the latest gaming smartphone from the Transsion Group subsidiary. The phone comes in three color options with a cyber theme and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate SoC. It features a triple rear camera unit with a 108-megapixel primary sensor and includes a gaming-specific Pixel Works X5 Turbo chip. The Infinix GT 20 Pro was also launched in Saudi Arabia in April this year.

Infinix GT 20 Pro is priced at Rs. The base version with 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage is priced at 22,999 (including bank offers). On the other hand, the 12GB RAM + 256GB internal storage variant costs Rs. 24999 (including bank offer). There are three color variants: Mecha Blue, Mecha Orange and Mecha Silver. The device will be available on Flipkart from May 28.
In comparison, the Infinix GT 10 Pro was launched at Rs 20 lakh. In August last year, the number of infected people in India was 1,999.

The dual-SIM (Nano) Infinix GT 20 Pro runs Android 14-based XOS 14 and features a 6.78-inch Full HD+ LTPS AMOLED display with variable refresh rates of 60Hz, 120Hz and 14Hz : and DCI-P3 color spectrum. This display features a touch sampling rate of up to 360 Hz, a PWM frequency of 2304 Hz and a maximum brightness of up to 1300 nits. Infinix has confirmed that the new smartphone will come with two major Android upgrades and three years of security patches.
Under the hood, the Infinix GT 20 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate SoC with 8GB and 12GB LPDDR5X RAM options. It also features a dedicated Pixelworks X5 Turbo gaming chip. The phone features X-Boost gaming mode, which is said to offer up to 90 frames per second in most games.
Coming to the optics, the Infinix GT 20 Pro features a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 108-megapixel Samsung HM6 sensor and two 2-megapixel sensors with support for optical image stabilization. It has a 32-megapixel front camera for selfies and video chat. It features a mechanical design with a mini RGB LED array and a C-ring on the back. The LED interface has 8 color combinations and 4 lighting effects.
The Infinix GT 20 Pro has 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The phone’s connectivity options include NFC, FM radio, GPS, USB Type-C port, OTG, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi 802.11. It is equipped with light sensor, electronic compass, G-sensor, gyroscope and proximity sensor. Additionally, it features an in-display fingerprint sensor for authentication and an X-axis linear motor. This phone has two speakers powered by JBL.
The Infinix GT 20 Pro packs a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. It measures 164.26 x 75.43 x 8.15 mm and weighs 194 grams.
