HMD Global plans to launch its own brand of smartphones by the end of this year. The company has hinted at the vision but not confirmed the model. However, leaked information about the alleged cell phone has surfaced online in recent weeks. Previous leaks have suggested a list of names that HMD could introduce. Now a leaker has revealed the design renders of two rumored HMD models: the HMD Pulse and the HMD Pulse Pro. He also mentioned the expected price, key features and specifications of the phone.

Tipster Steve H.McFly (@OnLeaks) has leaked the details of the alleged HMD Pulse and HMD Pulse Pro models. He teamed up with MySmartPrice to share details about the HMD Pulse base model. The leaked renders of the phone design were seen in three colors: black, blue and pink. The branding appears in the middle of the back and the rectangular camera module is placed in the top left corner. It features very thin bezels, a hole in the middle for the front camera, power and volume buttons on the right edge, and a SIM card tray on the left.
The base HMD Pulse features an octa-core chipset and is powered by a 5,000mAh battery. It will also likely come with a 6.56-inch HD+ IPS display and a 13-megapixel primary sensor with AI.
The source also teamed up with 91Mobiles to share details about the HMD Pulse Pro, including leaked renders. It features the phone in a black color option with rounded edges and a flat screen, similar to the vanilla model. A rectangular camera module in the upper left corner of the back houses two camera sensors alongside an LED flash unit. The inscription on the island refers to the dual rear camera with 50 megapixels.
The HMD Pulse Pro appears to have a relatively thick chin compared to the side edges. The power button and volume control button are on the right edge of the phone and the SIM card tray slot is on the left edge. There’s also a cutout at the top center of the display to house the front-facing camera sensor.
The report adds that the HMD Pulse Pro is expected to be priced at 179 euros (approximately Rs. 15,900) for the 6GB + 128GB option. The phone is expected to use the Unisoc T606 chipset and is expected to feature a 6.56-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1480 x 720 pixels and a refresh rate of 90Hz. According to rumors, the dual camera on the back of the phone will have a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The front camera of this phone is likely to have a 50-megapixel sensor.
The HMD Pulse Pro also has a 5,000mAh battery. It will also come with the IP52 standard for dust and splash resistance, as well as a 3.5mm audio jack. The weight of the mobile phone is approximately 196 grams.
