New Delhi, October 16 (Udaipur Kiran): Shares of Hero MotoCorp gained nearly 1% in Wednesday’s trading session after the company announced its entry into the Spanish market through a strategic partnership with Noria Motos, part of the ONEX Group. This expansion marks Hero MotoCorp’s entry into its 50th international market, further strengthening its footprint in Europe.

The stock was trading at Rs 5,585.90, up Rs 46.80 or 0.84%, from its previous close of Rs 5,539.10 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs 5,584.85 and touched a high of Rs 5,610.00 and a low of Rs 5,554.45 during the session. About 6,740 shares were traded on the counter. The company’s market capitalization currently stands at Rs 1,11,521.83 crore.
As part of the partnership, Noria Motos will make Hero MotoCorp’s products available to customers across Spain through over 30 official sales and service outlets in major cities, with plans to expand to more than 50 locations by 2026 and fully deploy 100% of its network by 2028. Hero MotoCorp will also establish a robust after-sales and technical support network to ensure a seamless customer experience.
With this move, Hero MotoCorp — the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, serving over 125 million customers globally — strengthens its position as a key player in the global two-wheeler market.
Currently, the promoter holding in the company stands at 34.73%, while institutions and non-institutions hold 55.15% and 10.11%, respectively.
This strategic expansion aligns with Hero MotoCorp’s global growth strategy and reaffirms its focus on developing a strong international presence, particularly in high-potential markets such as Europe.
