Udaipur, March 20, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran): The Dawoodi Bohra community celebrated Eid-ul-Fitr with joy and enthusiasm across the city on Thursday.

Festive spirit was visible in Bohra-dominated areas including Boharwadi, Kharol Colony, Fatehpura, Neemach Kheda, Chamanpura and Khanjipir, where people gathered in large numbers to mark the occasion. Special Eid-ul-Fitr prayers were offered at mosques across these localities.
Community spokesperson Mansoor Ali Odawala said that Eid prayers were held at 7 am in Rasulpura, Wajihpura, Moiyadpura, Chamanpura, Kharol Colony, Pula and Khanpura, followed by prayers for peace and harmony in the country.
Secretary Firoz Hussain Tinwala informed that the Eid prayers were led by respective religious figures at different locations, including Janab Mudassar Ali Zariwala in Wajihpura, Janab Aaqib Ali in Rasulpura, Mulla Haji Sajjad Hussain in Kharol Colony, Haji Shabbir Hussain in Chamanpura, Haji Anees Heetawala in Khanpura, and Haji Hatim Ali in Pula.
After the prayers, people greeted each other warmly, exchanged Eid wishes, and celebrated by sharing traditional sweets like sevaiyan. A strong sense of festivity and community bonding was witnessed throughout the day.
