CONCOR inches up on the bourses

Container Corporation of India (CONCOR) is currently trading at Rs. 579.80, up by 1.80 points or 0.31% from its previous closing of Rs. 578.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 605.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 605.00 and Rs. 573.45 respectively. So far 101854 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 665.05 on 01-Oct-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 460.00 on 14-May-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 605.00 and Rs. 564.80 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 35314.70 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 54.80%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 40.70% and 4.36% respectively.

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs has accorded ‘In-principle’ approval for strategic disinvestment of Government of India shareholding of 30.8% in Container Corporation of India (out of 54.8% equity presently held by the Government of India) along with transfer of management control to a strategic buyer.

CONCOR is a Public Sector Undertaking, under Ministry of Indian Railways which was incorporated in March 1988 under the Companies Act, and commenced operation from November 1989 taking over the existing network of 7 ICDs from the Indian Railways.
