Airtel Price Hike for Prepaid Recharge Plans, Postpaid Plans Announced: New Tariffs Effective From July 3

Airtel on Friday announced revised prices for its prepaid recharge plans and postpaid plans, increasing charges by 20 percent. The mobile operator said the new tariffs are part of its efforts to increase its average mobile revenue per user (ARPU). The operator said that the tariffs for prepaid and postpaid data plans will be revised next week. Airtel’s price hike comes hours after rival Reliance Jio on Thursday announced new tariffs and increased the prices of its plans in the country.

Price hike on Airtel postpaid plans

Airtel’s postpaid plans will also become more expensive and customers will have to pay higher monthly charges from July.
