A company has launched a new 650cc bike priced ₹50,000 lower than the Royal Enfield, sparking interest in the motorcycle market.
The Scrambler 650, based on the Gold Star 650 platform, has been launched in the Indian market after its global debut last year.
The upcoming bike features a robust 652cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, similar to that used in the company's Gold Star 650 model.
The engine delivers 45 HP power and 55 Nm torque, complemented by a 6-speed gearbox, according to company sources.
The design of the new bike significantly differs from the Global Gold Star 650, despite no changes in the engine, according to reports.
The vehicle features a high-mounted front fender, fork gaiters, side panels with '65 graphics, a reverse tail light, and an LED headlight.
The bike features wide tires with a 19-inch front wheel and 17-inch rear tires, an 820mm seat height, and a ground clearance of 187mm.
BSA has launched the Scrambler 650 at an introductory price of ₹3.25 lakh, competing directly with the Royal Enfield Hunter 650.
BSA launched its Scrambler at approximately ₹50,000 less than the Royal Enfield, available in Raven Black, Victor Yellow, and Thunder Grey.
