Verdict on Maharashtra Floor Test tomorrow

The Supreme Court on Monday said it will pass its order at 10.30 am tomorrow on the Shiv Sena-NCP-Congress combine plea against the Maharashtra governor’s decision to swear in Devendra Fadnavis as chief minister.

A bench comprising Justices N V Ramana, Ashok Bhushan and Sanjiv Khanna is likely to pass an order on holding of a floor test.

During the hearing, counsel of Maharashtra govt Mukul Rohtagi submitted two letters as desired by the apex court, one claiming majority support from Fadnavis – Ajit Pawar camp and another by the Governor inviting them to form govt.

Shiv-Sena lawyer Ajay Aggarwal said that the Supreme Court has reserved the order for tomorrow on floor test in Maharashtra.
