A SpaceX cargo craft departed after a successful mission to deliver scientific equipment and other supplies. The SpaceX-CRS-16 Dragon transported more than 2,500 kilograms (5,600 pounds) of cargo to the space station and orbited Earth for five weeks. Dragon is expected to splash down just west of Baja, California. International Space Station crew member said :"As we all know nothing in space flight is routine. Every day that we live and work in orbit, every time we launch satellites, cargo or humans to beyond our atmosphere we are working at the very limit of human capability. And with every feat we push that limit further. Each step, like this one today, is an example of humankind's insatiable propensity to explore. Congratulations to all the teams that have made the Space 16 mission possible. Godspeed, and bon voyage to Dragon."
