Tata Motors’ subsidiary — Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has reported its best-ever sales month in March 2017 in the US. The company’s US sales for both brands hit 12,918 units, a 19% increase from 10,866 units in March 2016. While Jaguar sales were 4,953 units, a 132% increase from 2,133 units in March 2016, Land Rover sales reached 7,965 units, down 9% from record March sales of 8,733 units in 2016.
Tata Motors is India’s largest automobile company. Through subsidiaries and associate companies, Tata Motors has operations in the UK, South Korea, Thailand, South Africa and Indonesia. Among them is Jaguar Land Rover, the business comprising the two iconic British brands.
