Sterling & Wilson Solar surges on securing order for 1.09 GW DC solar farm in Middle East

Sterling and Wilson Solar is currently trading at Rs. 594.15, up by 13.25 points or 2.28% from its previous closing of Rs. 580.90 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 605.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 605.00 and Rs. 588.30 respectively. So far 5262 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘B’ stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 755.50 on 20-Aug-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 555.00 on 06-Sep-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 619.50 and Rs. 580.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 9543.02 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 100%.

Sterling & Wilson Solar has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) for an Engineering, Construction and Procurement order for a 1.09 GW DC Solar Farm in the Middle East of a value of approximately $635 million.

Sterling & Wilson Solar is engaged in the business of construction and maintenance of power plants. The company’s products and services range include Contract activities and Operation Services.
