Sri Lanka, India enter semi final of 5th SAFF Women’s Championship

In a Group B match in Biratnagar today Sri Lanka defeated Maldives by 2-0. 

After two consecutive defeats in the group matches Maldives also exited from the six nation tournament with Bhutan.

Bangladesh and Nepal have already qualified for last four from Group A. 

Both will play against each other in their last group match on Saturday. In Group B India will take on Sri Lanka on Sunday. 

India has unbeaten record in SAFF championship and it has won the trophy four times.
