Indian athlete Adarsha Sinimol has won first gold medal for the country in 13th South Asian Games. Adarsha grabbed gold in Triathlon men’s individual event. He scorched 750 Meter swim, 20 km bike and 5 km run in one hour 02 minutes 51 seconds. India’s Srikhom Bishworjit begged silver with one hour 02 minutes 59 seconds while Nepal’s Basanta Tharu got bronze medal.
In women’s section Nepal’s Sony Gurung won gold medal. She finished 300 Meter swim, 6.6 km bike and 1.5 km run in one hour 13 minutes 45 seconds.
India’s Sorojini Devi Thoudam was just 15 seconds behind her and begged silver. Pragnya Mohan also from India won bronze medal.
