The Kathmandu-bound Altitude Air helicopter lost contact with air traffic control after taking off from Gorkha district Saturday morning.
The helicopter was scheduled to land at Kathmandu at 8.20 in the morning but it crashed in a deep forest area of Nuwakot district.
The chopper was having seven people on board. According to a press statement issued by the Tribhuvan International Airport six persons including the pilot have been died in the crash. A woman has been rescued alive and her condition is critical.
