Schools have registered an increase in students’ attendance, and apple farmers are happy with the govt interventions to give them the best prices for their produce.
The situation in Jammu and Kashmir continues to remain normal. Landline connections across the valley were functioning and voice calls on mobile devices have been started in Kupwara and Handwara police districts of north Kashmir.
Schools are also functional and healthy attendance is being registered in schools and government offices in the valley. Recently the state administration had announced the launch of a market intervention scheme for apple growers in Kashmir. where the produce will be procured directly from the farmers by central agencies including NAFED.
