Shiva Cement soars on emerging as preferred bidder by Govt of Odisha

Shiva Cement is currently trading at Rs. 10.63, up by 0.23 points or 2.21% from its previous closing of Rs. 10.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 11.15 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 11.15 and Rs. 10.49 respectively. So far 43973 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘X’ stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 18.30 on 19-Dec-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 6.25 on 23-Aug-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 11.15 and Rs. 9.60 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 202.80 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 54.44%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.11% and 45.45% respectively.

Shiva Cement has been declared as preferred bidder by Govt of Odisha for grant of mining lease, forward e-auction of Khatkurbahal (North) Limestone Block which was held on October 22, 2019 on the MSTC e-auction portal.

Shiva Cement is engaged in the manufacture of cement and allied products in India. The company offers various types of cements, including PS cement.
