Sachin Tendulkar and VVS Laxman appeared in person before BCCI Ombudsman and former justice DK Jain in Delhi on Tuesday.
This was in relation to the conflict of interest matter as both are part of board’s Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC) and also IPL franchises Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad.
However, the hearing which just ended remained inconclusive. Sachin and Laxman though may not be required to appear personally again unless they personally desire so.
Both cricketers have denied having any conflict and in fact, blamed BCCI for the mess as the Board never mentioned before their written submission that there is ‘tractable Conflict of Interest” which can be sorted on full disclosure.
