RSS CHIEF HAILS PM, HM FOR ABROGATION OF ART. 370
RSS Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for abrogation of Article 370. Speaking at the 94th foundation day celebration of Rashtriya Swyamsewak Sangh in Nagpur, the RSS Chief said the move of the re-elected government to nullify Article 370 has once again proved that it has the courage to fulfill the expectations and respect people’s sentiments and wishes in the interest of the country.
LYNCHING WORD IS ALIEN TO INDIA: RSS CHIEF
Speaking on incidents of social violence, the RSS Chief said word lynching is alien to India. He said Branding some incidents of social violence as ‘lynching’ are actually meant to defame India and create fear among some communities.
WOMEN NEED TO BE GIVEN THEIR RIGHTFUL PLACE IN SOCIETY:RSS CHIEF
On the issue of women’s rights and safety, the RSS Chief said, women need to be given their rightful place in society and have to be encouraged to do so.
The RSS Chief appealed to different sections of the society to strive to increase goodwill, dialogue and cooperation among themselves. He said there is a need to create harmony and everyone should live within confines of law.
RSS SARSANGHCHALAK PERFORMS SHASTRAPUJA
In the morning, the RSS chief performed ‘shastra puja’ at the Sangh’s annual Vijayadashmi event at Nagpur. HCL founder Shiv Nadar was the chief guest for this year’s event. Union ministers Nitin Gadkari, Gen V K Singh (retd) and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis were among those present at the event.
