RSS begins its three-day lecture series in Delhi

Future of Bharat: An RSS Perspective’. He spoke at length about the beliefs of RSS founder Dr. Hedgewar…saying they form the foundation of the organisation….He also shared what RSS stands for…and the guiding principles of the organisation…Here’s more.

In a bid to end ideological untouchability and take the views of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh on various issues of national importance to the people….a 3-day lecture series began at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi on Monday.

The first day saw participation from prominent citizens from all walks of life….including social and political organisations….

On the first day of the 3 day lecture series under the theme….’Future of Bharat: An RSS Perspective’….RSS Sarsanghchalak….delivered his address on the role played by RSS as an organisation, its ideology, the contributions and life of RSS founder Dr. Hedgewar …and the state of the nation.

He spoke about the culture of values that bind the society together….even though there is so much diversity in the country.

He explained that Sangh works on development of an individual’s values.

Stressing that Sangh works with the objective reforming the society and serving the nation….he said the Sangh is committed to working for a society that is bereft of all ills…and is progressive.

He said that Sangh does not hanker for publicity…and its works speak for themselves.

He said the Sangh cannot be compared with any other organisation….as it is unique in its ways….

Elaborating on the contributions and life of RSS founder Dr. Hedgewar….the RSS Sarsanghchalak spoke on how he engaged with those with differing ideologies….and treated them with respect

He said that the Sangh has been working in national interest since it was founded.

He cited instances from Dr. Hedgewar’s life that gave a glimpse of his contributions to the Freedom Struggle.

This is an unprecedented outreach by the Sangh, in terms of scale and nature…

The purpose of the outreach is to engage people on its guiding principles…and on its vision for India’s future.
