RIL telecom arm’s 4G download speed falls in December

Reliance Industries’ (RIL) telecom arm — Reliance Jio Infocomm’s (Jio) 4G download speed has been decreased by about 8% in December to 18.7 megabit per second (mbps) but the company continued to lead the chart published by telecom regulator Trai.

Jio network recorded an average download speed of 20.3 mbps in November.

Reliance Industries is India’s largest private sector company. The company’s activities span hydrocarbon exploration and production, petroleum refining and marketing, petrochemicals, retail and 4G digital services.
