Regional security architecture for Indo-Pacific must be open, inclusive: PM Modi

 

He said that India continues to be a beacon of stability, prosperity and peace in times of global uncertainties.

He also said that India remains a strong advocate of strengthening and reforming multilateralism amid contemporary realities and India is one of the largest contributors to global economic growth and development.

Talking on India-ASEAN ties, Prime Minister Modi said that ASEAN is at the core of India’s Act East policy.

He also said that ASEAN is one of the most economically and politically dynamic regions of the world today and India wishes to see a strong, unified and prosperous ASEAN which will play central role in the emerging dynamic of the Indo-Pacific.

Prime Minister Modi also spoke on India’s balanced RCEP negotiations. He said that India seeks for balance across goods, services & investments and to build international partnerships to combat global challenges. He talked of:
