PM participates in program to mark a year of BJP govt in HP

Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Dharamshala today to participate in a program to mark one year of the BJP government in Himachal Pradesh. Upon reaching the venue , he also visited an exhibition that showcased the major achievements of the year old BJP state government. PM also released a document highlighting achievements of the state government on the occasion. He also interacted with the beneficiaries of various government schemes. LAter Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a massive rally in Dharamshala  and touched upon many topics during his speech in the hill state. Talking about corruption , PM said that his crusade against corruption has rattled many in the country. He further said that many people may feel troubled, this chaukidaar is not going to sleep and let the loot continue. 
 

PM also touched upon the issue of loan waivers of the farmers. He accused the congress party of misleading the farmers and said that the party governments in Punjab and Karnataka are still to come good to its promise of  waiving loans of farmers. 
 

Complementing the state govt on various initiatives undertaken during the last one year, PM remembered the immense contribution by former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee in generating industrial development in the state. He said that the centre carried on the legacy and is now focussing on many employment generating works.

PM also said that the centre and the state are working in tandem to usher in positive changes in the state. He informed that the centre is working on twin rails of Transportation and Tourism to work towards prosperity and development.  He gave examples of changes brought in Railways and Air travel connections to help increase tourist traffic in the state

PM also highlighted the efforts his govt put in to realise the onerous task of implementing one rank one pension scheme for the armed forces personnel. He also reiterated the centre’s commitment to work towards the welfare of the state, adding that when the state is marching ahead , the centre wont lag behind in extending a helping hand.
