Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit his parliamentary constituency Varanasi to thank the people as well as BJP workers for the resounding mandate in his favour. He will also offer prayers at the Kashi Vishwanath temple.
Narendra Modi’s relationship with Varanasi is a special one. So after seeking his mother’s blessings and meeting BJP workers in Ahmedabad, tracing his political and personal journey there, PM Modi heads to Kashi to thank the people for reposing their faith in him. This will be his 19th visit to the city since he became Prime Minister.
A similar scene will play out on Monday when PM Narendra Modi heads to Kashi Vishwanath temple. He will land at Police Line helipad from where he will move to Kashi Vishwanath Temple by road. All security and other arrangements are in place for a grand home-coming for him.
Next on the agenda is an interaction with BJP workers at the Deen Dayal Hasta Kala Sankul. The tireless efforts of these workers led by Narendra Modi resulted in a historic win for him. PM Modi retained the seat by a margin of nearly 5 lakh votes.
The last five years have been momentous and transformative in the history of Kashi. Not only has the city given India one of its most popular prime ministers ever, but it has also witnessed the rapid development that a good MP can bring to it. Clearly PM Narendra Modi’s vision has had a key role to play in the development of this timeless city.
