The Prime Minister has responded to greetings received on Twitter, from US President Donald Trump, Russian President Vladimir Putin, French President Emmanuel Macron, Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu, and Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison.
He has also responded to greetings on Twitter, from Heads of State, Heads of Government, and senior leaders from Canada, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Nepal, Maldives, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Italy, Portugal, Czech Republic, United Kingdom, Malta, Cyprus, Tanzania, Nigeria, Rwanda, Ghana, Madagascar, Burundi, and Zimbabwe.
Responding to Former President Pranab Mukherjee’s message, wherein he said that Narendra Modi carries “the hopes & aspirations of 1.3 billion people of India,” the Prime Minister said that the good wishes “give us great strength in working for the betterment of 130 crore Indians.” The Prime Minister also responded to congratulatory messages from Rahul Gandhi, Chandrababu Naidu, MK Stalin, Capt. Amarinder Singh, and Omar Abdullah.
Sportspersons Sachin Tendulkar, Mary Kom, Saina Nehwal, and Neeraj Chopra had congratulated Prime Minister Modi on Twitter. In response to Saina Nehwal, the Prime Minister said that “Team India has won.” In response to Neeraj Chopra, the Prime Minister hoped that he was recovering well from injury.
In his reply to music director A.R.
