The 400 bed dharamshala has been funded by India and was handed over to Pashupati Area Development Trust.
Addressing the gathering PM Modi stressed the need for more people to people contact of the two countries for strengthening bilateral relationship.
He said the path shown by Lord Buddha is important to fight the terrorism and extremism in today’s world.
PM said that his government is working with the motto of ‘Sab Ka Sath Sab Ka Vikas’ in India and the role of people of Nepal is also important in this regard.
The Prime Minister said the Dharmshala is the symbol of Indo-Nepal friendship and asserted that India will continue its support for the development of neighbouring country.
