Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacts directly with the members of Self Help Groups under DeendayalAntyodayaYojana – National Rural Livelihoods Mission and beneficiaries of Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gramin Kaushalya Yojna through video conferencing.
The interaction is expected to provide an opportunity to the Prime Minister to get to know, directly from the Self Help Groups members, about the various activities being undertaken by them under Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana – National Rural Livelihoods Mission and how it has impacted their lives.
Beneficiaries include Self Help Groups working on Anti-alcohol movement from Bihar, Brick making unit from Chhattisgarh.
Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana – National Rural Livelihoods Mission has emerged as the largest institutional platform for women’s empowerment.
The Mission has now initiated implementation in 4884 blocks spread across 600 districts. More than 5 crore women have been mobilized into 45 lakh Self Help Groups.
