PM Modi in Bishkek to attend 19th SCO Summit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived in Bishkek to participate in the 19th Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summit. Prime Minister Modi, left this morning for Kyrgyzstan not flying through Pakistan airspace.

Prime Minister Modi will be addressing the plenary session of the SCO Summit where he will presenting his vision for the regional cooperation and development through the SCO fourm.  

During the summit, PM Modi is expected to meet many world leaders including Chinese president Xi Jinping, Russian President Valdimir & President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov who was invited for the oath-taking ceremony of PM Modi in May as SCO Chair.

As the SCO summit begins focus will on global issues, issues dominating a changing and unstable world order and how this alliance of the east can act a factor of stability.
