PM Modi embarks on three-nation tour to France, UAE & Bahrain

The next day, PM Modi will meet French Prime Minister Edouard Philippe and also address an event of Indian community at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris. A memorial for Indian victims of two Air India flight tragic air crashes of 1950 and 1966 will also be inaugurated. 

Prime Minister’s second stop will be United Arab Emirates. PM will hold delegation level talks with Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

He will reach the middle east nation on 23rd August where he will also receive the Order of Zayed, the highest civil decoration of the UAE in recognition for giving a big boost to the bilateral strategic relations . 

On the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi’s 150th birth anniversary celebrations , Commemorative stamps will be launched in Abu Dhabi. The launch of the RuPay Card is also on the schedule. 
The  visit is expected to boost cooperation in the sectors of skill development, space, information and technology and cyber.

From UAE, PM will leave for Bahrain on August 24, which will be the first ever visit from Indian Prime Minister. He will be holding extensive talks with King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on various bilateral, regional issues . Later, the launch of Rupay card is listed in Bahrain visit also. Prime Minister will also launch the renovation of Shreenathji temple in Manama.

After the Bahrain visit, Prime Minister Modi will be returning to France for the G7 Summit. The 45th G7 summit will be held from August 24-26 in Biarritz, France. India has been invited as a partner country. Prime Minister will also be demonstrating JAM- JanDhan, Aadhar and Mobile in a Digital Transformation session. 

Ahead of the G7 meet, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to US President Donald Trump and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson over the phone. Several bilateral and pull aside meetings are on the cards in Biarritz. A power packed five days will see PM Modi meet several leaders and set the agenda on the global platform for Modi govt 2.0
