Before addressing the third session of Saudi Arabia’s Future Investment Initiative Forum, PM Modi met the top Saudi leadership and two countries and signed several agreements to boost the bilateral relations.
India’s relations with Saudi Arabia have been on an upswing over the last few years as Riyadh is New Delhi’s fourth-largest trading partner. Recently Saudi Arabia said that it is looking at investing 100 billion dollars in India in areas of energy, refining, petrochemicals, infrastructure, agriculture, minerals and mining. Saudi Arabia has been one of the largest and reliable suppliers of India’s energy needs.
