Prime MInister said that festivals in India have huge potential for tourism. He said that Indians living abroad can play important roles in promoting the festival tourism in India.
Prime Minister also expressed happiness over the fact that world’s tallest statue, ‘Statue of Unity’ found a place in the TIME magazine’s list of ‘World’s 100 Greatest Places of 2019’.
Prime Minister urged people to visit ‘Statue of Unity’ at Kevadia in Gujarat. Prime Minister also expressed happiness over the fact that fellow countrymen have responded positively after he had urged them to celebrate this Diwali in a different way.
In his previous edition of Man Ki Baat, Prime Minister had also urged people to celebrate the achievements of ‘Naari Shakti’ in India.
Prime Minister also praised those who are involved in cleanliness drive in India.
Prime MInister lauded the efforts of brave soldiers, who conducted cleanliness drive at highest battleground on earth in Siachen.
To promote local products and small businesses, Prime Minister also urged the countrymen to do shopping from small retailers and celebrate this auspicious occasion of Diwali with utter safety.
