PM Modi addresses rallies in West Bengal, Tripura & Manipur

In Manipur, Prime Minister Narendra Modi hold rally in Imphal in Manipur. Prime Minister said that, connectivity to the North east region enhanced during last five years. He also said that vicious cycles of violence has also come an end in the region.

He said that the region has moved on the path of development. The state has two Lok Sabha seats – Inner Manipur and Outer Manipur.

The voting for Outer Manipur seat will be held on April 11. Inner Manipur will go to the polls in the second phase on April 18.


Earlier, Prime Minister Modi addressed a rally in Udaipur, Tripura. Prime Minister Modi said that Congress and Left are pretending to be as opponent in Tripura and Kerala, but have a common motive to remove Modi.


Prime Minister Narendra Modi also addressed a rally in West Bengal’s Cooch Behar district. Prime Minister Modi said that even the poorest of the poor will now have their own bank accounts and debit cards.

Prime Minister said that the government has taken several steps to ensure the development of Cooch Behar.

Calling TMC Chief and West Bengal Chief Minister a speed Breaker in the path of development, Prime minister said the centre had approved projects worth crores for the state.. but the West Bengal government has put roadblocks in the path of their implementation.

Prime Minister also said that over 1 crore poor families in the state have been benefited with Rs 5 lakh each under central government’s Ayushman Bharat scheme, however, Mamta Banerjee’s state government has hindered the process.
