PM Modi addresses rallies in Gujarat & Goa

Prime Minister Narendra Modi held two rallies in Gujarat and one in Goa a day ahead of the first phase of polling.

In Junagadh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi accused the Congress of a “Tughlaq Road election scam” where money meant for poor, pregnant women was looted from people. This comes soon after IT raids at 1 Tughlaq road, the residence of MP Chief Minister Kamal Nath. He said initially, Karnataka was the ATM of the Congress, now Madhya Pradesh has become its new ATM.

His next stop was Songadh in Saurashtra. Here too he targeted the Congress on the corruption front. Prime Minister said that Sardar Patel would have rejected the Congress Manifesto as a pack of lies. He also hit out at the Mahagathbandhan that has come together with the sole aim of ‘Modi Hatao’.
In Goa Prime Minister Modi recalled Manohar Parrikar’s tenure as a Defence Minister. He said the foundation for a new culture where India can enter the homes of enemies to kill them was laid with the surgical strikes. He contrasted this culture with the Congress tenure that saw kickbacks in Bofors acquisition and Quattrochi being allowed to flee.

Prime Minister said in ten years, Goa saw 13 CMs. During this period, Goa used to be in the news for dynasty and corruption. BJP has brought Goa on a new track and it can be credited to Parrikar and his team.
