CONG SPEAKS LANGUAGE HAILED IN PAK: PM
Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared the stage with Shiv Sena’s Uddhav Thackeray and RPI’s Ramdas Athavale in Latur.
He referred to Uddhav as his “younger brother” and eulogised Bala Saheb. He hit out at NCP chief Sharad Pawar for standing with the likes of National Conference leader Omar Abdullah who has demanded a two PM Model for J&K.
Prime Minister called on first-time voters to dedicate their vote to those who carried out the air strike in Balakot adding that the Congress party’s manifesto speaks the same language as that of Pakistan.
Addressing the rally, Uddhav Thackeray asked Prime Minister Modi to deal Pakistan such a blow that nothing remains of it to mess with India.
This was the first joint rally of the BJP and Shiv Sena since the two announced their tie-up for the Lok Sabha polls. Uddhav Thackeray also welcomed the BJP’s manifesto.
KARNATAKA: PM ADDRESSES RALLY IN CHITRADURGA & MYSURU
Prime Minister’s next stop was in Karnataka’s Chitradurga and Mysuru. In Chitradurga, the PM lashed out at the state’s ruling JD(S)-Congress alliance for coming together for the sake of grabbing power and serving the self-interest of their leaders.
And in Mysuru, PM Modi targeted the Congress over a legacy of corruption charges. PM also targeted its manifesto as a blueprint for dividing the country.
PM ADDRESSES RALLY IN COIMBATORE, TAMIL NADU
The last rally of the day was in Tamil Nadu’s Coimbatore.He recounted his govt’s achievements and initiatives while mentioning the pledges made by the BJP in its Sankalp Patra.
