Physical Rubber prices showed some weakness on Wednesday amid tepid demand from stockiest. Further, expectations of higher domestic supply too added pressure on rubber prices. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety remained unchanged at Rs 150/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety fell to 147.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 148/ kg.
In the futures market, July delivery gained to Rs 149.95 compared to its previous closing of Rs 149.31, while August delivery was at Rs 143.12 compared to its previous close of Rs 144.10 on the Indian Commodity Exchange Limited (ICEX).
