NSA: Pakistan trying to create unrest in J&K

National Security Advisor Ajit Doval has said situation in Jammu and Kashmir is getting much better than anticipated. Doval said over 92 percent of areas are now free of restrictions.

According to a news agency, while interacting with a group of journalists, the National Security Advisor said, out of 199 police station areas in the state, only 10 have prohibitory orders in place.

Doval said People of Jammu and Kashmir support the abrogation of Article 370 as they see greater opportunities, better future, and economic progress and employment opportunities.

The National Security Advisor said Pakistan is trying to create trouble in J&K, using the instrument of terror to target innocent civilians.
