Normalcy prevails in Jammu and Kashmir

On Thursday too Srinagar saw a day of heavy traffic jams and busy markets.Heavy  movement of private vehicles, auto rickshaws and inter district cabs led to the deployment of additional traffic police attendance in govt schols and offices was normal.

While restrictions have been lifted across the valley, security forces have been deployed in areas that are sensitive.

Meanwhile, Home Minister Amit Shah said that abrogation of special status under 370 was absolutely essential and within 10 years Jammu and Kashmir would become the most developed state in the world.
