NLC India inches up on signing MoA with Anna University

NLC India is currently trading at Rs. 54.55, up by 0.30 points or 0.55% from its previous closing of Rs. 54.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 54.60 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 55.10 and Rs. 54.15 respectively. So far 7193 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 85.50 on 17-Oct-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 49.15 on 29-Aug-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 57.80 and Rs. 54.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 7564.10 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 81.91%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 14.41% and 3.69% respectively.

NLC India (NLCIL) has entered into a memorandum of agreement (MoA) with Anna University, Chennai, to set up an Innovation and Incubation Centre for promoting young innovators in specific focus areas aimed to develop the core business activities of NLCIL.

NLC India is engaged in the business of lignite mining and power generation.
