In a tweet Oli said that he is deeply shocked to learn of the passing away of Sushma Swaraj. Nepalese PM expressed his heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathies to the Government and people of India as well as to the bereaved family members. Oli fondly recalled how intimately Swarajused to call him brother and share feelings of affinity.
Minister for Foreign Affairs of Nepal, Pradeep Kumar Gyawali has also condoled demise of Swaraj. In a tweet Gyawali said he is saddened by the untimely passing away of former EAM of India Sushma Swaraj ji. He has expressed deep condolences to the family, Government and people of India on the loss of a leader with commitment,vision and spirituality. Mr Gyawali said he had worked closely with Swaraj to strengthen bilateral ties when she held office.
Former Prime Minister and President of Nepali Congress, Sher Bahadur Deuba has also expressed condolences on the demise of Swaraj. In a tweet Deuba said he is deeply saddened to know the untimely passing away of Sushma Swaraj, a true friend of Nepal and a senior politician and former External Affairs Minister. Deuba expressed his heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathies to the bereaved family members and people of India.
