Nepal: 16 new cases of COVID-19 reported, total number climbs to 75

This is the highest number of COVID-19 cases reported in a single day in the Himalayan nation. 

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 15 persons from Nepalgunj and one person from Birgunj diagnosed with COVID-19 on Sunday. 

Out of 16 new patients nine are male and seven are female. 

There are 59 active cases in the Himalayan nation, while 16 patients have been recovered so far. 

Nepal is under lockdown till 7th May to contain the spread of Coronavirus.
