NDA govt sails through no confidence motion

The No Confidence Motion brought by opposition fell flat on Friday. The motion was defeated by more than 2/3rd margin. The no-confidence motion was introduced by the TDP against the  government demanding Special Status Category to the Andhra Pradesh. 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi thanked all the parties that have supported the govt in the vote on Friday. Thanking allies for support, Prime Minister Modi in a tweet said that NDA has the confidence of the Lok Sabha and the 125 crore people of India. He added that govt’s efforts to transform India and fulfil the dreams of youth continue. Jai Hind!
