“We need to defeat the Congress and hence we are fielding my younger brother. Although I wanted to stay away from dynasty politics, this decision has been taken keeping in mind people’s demands. We shall defeat the Congress the same way we defeated Vaibhav Gehlot in Jodhpur in the Lok Sabha polls,” Hanuman Beniwal said.

The bypolls for the two Assembly seats in Rajasthan — Khinwsar in Nagaur district and Mandawa in Jhunjhunu district — were necessitated after the sitting MLAs from these two assembly segments contested and won the Lok Sabha polls earlier this year, thus leaving the seats vacant.

Both Khinwsar and Mandawa will go to the polls on October 21.
