MP: School uniforms to be now made by women SHGs

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that all the uniforms that will be made in the schools will be made by the women of Self Help Group.

He was speaking at the credit distribution function of self-help groups of the credit camp program in the capital Bhopal. He said that through this arrangement, the groups will get employment of 400 crores.

The women of the group will buy clothes, dress themselves and will also supply. The Chief Minister further said that the responsibility of ready-to-eat nutritious food distributed in Anganwadi centers will also be given to women self-help groups instead of giving it to the contractor.
